And In The End ...

Well, there you have it. A three year world tour on four continents, 16 countries, above and below the equator. I sincerely hope you enjoyed my perspectives on traveling and have gained a vicarious feel for what it was like to explore the planet. In retrospect, traveling the world was by far the most educational and rewarding experience of my life.

If you think virtual reality is interesting, try reality. Take it from someone who has been there and knows. Traveling is real life in real time and the only real way to acquire a world view. I pass the torch on to you. Go out! Go out fearlessly and take in as much as you can handle. This knowledge of the world will be yours for the rest of your life.

Captain of the ship -- Lake Michigan.

For the last four years I have been researching, illustrating, philosophizing, and writing down everything it takes for someone to make a world tour of their own become a reality. Introducing: World Stompers: A Global Travel Manifesto. Please click on the Book Information icon for more details.

There has never been a more opportune time in the entire history of civilization to see the world. No other generation has had the kind of freedom and options to travel the world as we have today. Whenever before could you just get on a plane and be anywhere on the planet within 24 hours? Or at a time when almost all countries are at peace and welcome travelers? The only limitations are within you, and when you overcome your fears and misconceptions, suddenly the world becomes your oyster. Don't hesitate, GO FOR IT!

All my best,

B-rad Olsen
